To reply to your questions regarding the improved detection capabilities, all of these are supposed to be enabled till the end of this week.
That is, starting early next week, you should see a significant pop in detection rates from Avast (namely Avast 2015).
DynaGen is just one of the things that will get enabled. There is at least two more similar things that have been in the pipeline for a while but were not enabled until A2015.
And regarding NG, I think it's been communicated very poorly here so far. Let me try to fix that. In a nutshell, NG is an underlying technology that you shouldn't really have to worry about. It replaces the old DeepScreen sandbox on machines that can handle it. On other machines, it doesn't -- but that's not a huge issue because all the DeepScreen results are now stored in the cloud in real time, so even if your machine is not NG-capable, chances are that some other Avast user, with a NG-capable machine, has already seen your file before. The SSD requirement will not be there in the final version, but we've put it there for now to get some additional telemetry data.
The NG browsers were there as a test. To be honest with you, we saw that the technology is not quite ready yet to be completely rolled out in such a mode (e.g. for general purpose browsing) and we still have quite some work to get there. This will be our goal for the upcoming months.
Thanks
