That's due to Win7 Pro x32.

On Win7 Pro x64 IE9 64-bit Edition starts instantly and so does IE9 32-bit Edition that I hardly use anymore.

Get lucky ???  ;D

I filled out an application last year when the announced the pilot program and was surprised in Feb, 2011
with a new computer. :)
I'm using it now to answer your question.  The only thing that I don't like on it is the keyboard.

Why? Is it different to a normal keyboard?

Also, didn't you have a link ages ago for an early version of the chrome OS?
Is there still an iso option or is it ONLY with the laptop?

I was told it's like the keyboard on an apple laptop.
Don't really know since Apple hasn't sent me a test laptop.:)
