The subscription that was associated with the activation code you provided, was cancelled. If you received a message saying that it expires within 24 hours, then it would be correct. The license is valid until 3/08/2021. This means that you can continue to use the premium version of the application until this date. It does not imply that the subscription will renew.

When you say "a couple of days ago" are you referring to the 2nd of August 2021? On this date, at the time you received the notification of the auto-renewal subscription attempt, the subscription itself was still valid. Your subscription was cancelled at a time after you received this notification.
